About Me

Hi, I’m Brett Bazaar! After 20 years of service in the active army, I retired in 2019 and began my “second life” by diving into the world of cybersecurity. I’m currently completing my associate degree in cybersecurity at Rockland Community College and will be continuing my studies at Mercy University this fall to pursue a bachelor’s degree.

This blog is my space to share insights from my journey—lessons from my classes, practical tips for staying secure online, and reflections on my transition from military life to the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity. I’m passionate about making complex security concepts simple and relatable for everyone, whether you’re a student, a professional, or just curious about digital safety.

When I’m not studying or writing, I’m busy as a parent, experimenting with tech setups, or working on creative projects. Thanks for stopping by.

Stay safe out there.
